Planet of the Apes films (minus Tim Burton’s 2001 travesty) are fantastic. Apes more advanced than humans? Not such a crazy thought. After much shuffling on the release date, we finally get a first look trailer for Rise of the Planet of the Apes.  Does this look good? It’s hard to tell right now. I do know I’m a sucker for these movies, so don’t listen to me. If the final shot of the trailer embodies the tone of the film, this might be the apology tour film for Burton.  Besides, Franco is in it. How can it be bad? Who’s with me?!
