Scream 1 – Fresh, original, funny, scary.

Scream 2 – Eh, it was OK. Worth seeing.

Scream 3 – Please stop. There was no reason for this trainwreck.

And now, 10 years later, Scream 4 is invading theaters near you.Every franchise of the past is trying their best to make a few extra bucks off their name brand alone. Can the Scream franchise find a unique voice in a very new horror landscape? Since the original release back in 1996, horror films have moved towards the ugly: the Saw franchise, Final Destination franchise, and remakes of all the classic 70′s/80′s horror films.  Can Scream 4 withstand the new world order in horror?

Most likely, this film is not going to be good. But for some reason, I’m kinda intrigued…with reservations.
